Ticket purchase and use

SECTION I

GENERAL PROVISIONS

  1. The Description of the Procedure for the Online Sale and Use of Visitor Tickets (hereinafter referred to as “the Description”) of the Contemporary Art Centre (hereinafter referred to as “CAC”) and the Sapieha Palace lays down the main principles of the sale and use of visitor tickets.
  2. This Description applies to ensure a smooth visitor ticketing process.
  3. Visitor accounting is carried out following the reports of the CAC and Sapieha Palace ticketing system and ticket usage reports.
  4. Tickets for visits to the CAC and its Sapieha Palace branch can be purchased via the online ticketing system www.cac.lt and www.sapiegurumai.lt.
  5. Tickets can be purchased in the Republic of Lithuania and other countries where there is an Internet connection and access to such portals is not prohibited.
  6. Payments are made through the payment system www.paysera.lt . The payment methods offered include electronic banking services of most Lithuanian banks and credit cards.
  7. The information is provided in Lithuanian and English.
  8. Purchases are available for both registered and non-registered users.
  9. Online purchases are subject to a service fee per ticket.

SECTION II

RULES FOR PURCHASING TICKETS

  1. When purchasing a ticket online, the visitor must make sure that he/she has selected the exhibition he/she wants to visit at the CAC or its Sapieha Palace branch, the right date and time of the visit, the category of visitors, and the number of tickets.
  2. After selecting the tickets, the visitor enters his/her data (name, surname, telephone number, e-mail), which is collected in order to send the ticket, checks the basket information, agrees to the terms and conditions of sale and use of the tickets, and only then the payment is made.
  3. Along with the tickets, when the visitor selects the setting “Invoice required”, an electronic invoice will be generated according to the personal or company data provided by the customer. It is sent by e-mail together with the tickets.
  4. Payment is made through the payment system www.paysera.lt.
  5. Upon receipt of a response from www.paysera.lt indicating successful payment, electronic tickets are sent to the visitor via the e-mail address indicated.
  6. When purchasing tickets online, each ticket is subject to a Money Transfer Fee.
  7. Visitors who do not need to purchase a ticket are recorded electronically at the control points.
  8. Tickets purchased are automatically generated by the system.

SECTION III

RULES FOR THE USE OF TICKETS

  1. A ticket is valid only in the building specified in the ticket: the CAC or the Sapieha Palace, on a specific date and time, unless otherwise specified in the ticket. Once a visitor has left the area covered by the ticket, he/she shall not be admitted again with the same ticket.
  2. If the ticket is purchased with a discount, the visitor must present the document granting the discount at the control point. A visitor must buy a ticket without a discount at the relevant CAC or Sapieha Palace ticket office if he/she cannot present a valid document granting a discount.
  3. After purchasing an e-ticket and upon arrival at the CAC or Sapieha Palace, the visitor must present the printed e-ticket or the e-ticket code on his/her mobile device at the control point.

It is the visitor’s responsibility to make arrangements for mobile internet or other means of accessing each barcode.

  1. The ticket is scanned and marked only once and is valid for one person only. The control machines shall display the date and time of the first scan. The visitor will not be admitted if the ticket is presented for a second scan.
  2. The visitor must keep the ticket and the receipt (if purchased at the ticket office) until the end of the visit to the CAC or the Sapieha Palace.
  3. Tickets are not exchangeable or refundable unless the visit is not possible due to the fault of the CAC or Sapieha Palace.
  4. If the visit is not possible due to the fault of the CAC or the Sapieha Palace, tickets purchased at the box office can only be refunded at the box office at which they were purchased. To collect the money paid, it is necessary to show the tickets purchased and the purchase receipt at the box office. If the visit is not possible due to the fault of the CAC or Sapieha Palace, refunds for tickets purchased online will be issued upon request to info@cac.lt with all purchase details.

SECTION IV

FINAL PROVISIONS

  1. To provide online ticketing services, the CAC shall process the personal data of the Visitor(s). The CAC shall collect, process, and store the personal data of the Visitor necessary for the provision of the online ticketing service following the General Data Protection Regulation, the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania, and the provisions of any other laws and regulations governing the rights of the Visitor, and shall not transfer such data to any third parties unless it is obliged to do so by law or regulations, or unless it is necessary for the provision of the services of the CAC or the Visitor explicitly agrees to such transfer of his/her personal data.
